Important: Text message service delay for sexual health test results
On Monday 3 June, Synnovis, a provider of laboratory services, was the victim of a ransomware cyber attack and this has affected the text message notification service we use for contacting patients with test results.
We would like to reassure you that if you have a positive test result, you will be contacted directly by one of our clinical teams. If all your test results are negative, you will not be contacted.
Alongside restoration of services, we recognise that many people may be concerned about the impact of the attack. Synnovis teams are working to establish the full impact of the cyber attack and what systems and information have been affected.
