Free postal STI kits can be ordered from the following services
- Get It - chlamydia and gonorrhoea

Free chlamdyia and gonorrhoea kits can be collected from local service providers
Please note: ordering kits online may be delayed due to Royal Mail postal limitations and provider opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period. If you are picking a kit up from a local site, be sure to check their opening hours before making your way to them.
Some pharmacies offer the contraceptive pill for free without needing a prescription. Find your closest participating pharmacy using the NHS Service Search.
Free condoms can be accessed from
- Get It - order condoms in various sizes, flavours and textures (latex free options available) and receive through the post*
- Hertfordshire sexual health clinics - simply ask reception for a condom pack (assorted sizes of latex condoms)

Free emergency oral contraception can be collected from
- Pharmacies offering NHS emergency contraception services (free emergency contraception at participating pharmacies)
- Hertfordshire sexual health clinics
- GP surgeries
If you require emergency contraception when our clinics and other local services are closed, call 111 to be seen at your local urgent care centre or out of hours service.

PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) - if you think you have been exposed to HIV within the last 72 hours, call 111 or attend your local A&E department
Sexual assault and rape - If you have been sexually assaulted or raped, it is important that you contact the police as soon as it's safe to do so. Other helpful organisations and charities can support you, such as the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), Samaritans and Rape Crisis.
