Results from surveys undertaken with young people living in Hertfordshire, show that most of you think it’s OK to wait to have sex. However, if you are in a relationship (even if you’re not having sex), it’s still important to know about healthy relationships, contraception, sexually transmitted Infections (STI’s) and local services.
We offer a range of free and confidential services including pregnancy testing, emergency contraception and testing for STI’s. We also have dedicated clinic times just for young people under 21 years. Check our clinic times for more information.
You can also give us a call on 0300 008 5522 so we can have a chat about your sexual health and suggest the best support for you. If under 18, tell us your age so you can speak to a health advisor immediately.
There are also other websites that provide useful information;
- YC Hertfordshire (local services for young people including free condoms, chlamydia testing)
- Health for Teens (select Hertfordshire)
- Sexwise (honest advice about contraception, pregnancy, STIs, and pleasure)
