We are pleased to announce that walk-in clinics for YOUNG PEOPLE are starting again!
There will be a clinic every Tuesday from 4pm to 6.30pm at Stevenage and Hatfield (starting 14th July)
and at 4pm to 6.30pm at Watford (starting 15th July)
Due to the Covid precautions we will need to see you on your own and you may be given an appointment slot and asked to come back later in the same session. But we do want to see you!
Results from surveys undertaken with young people living in Hertfordshire, show that most of you think it’s OK to wait to have sex. However, if you are in a relationship (even if you’re not having sex), it’s still important to know about healthy relationships, contraception, sexually transmitted Infections (STI’s) and local services.
We offer a range of free and confidential services including pregnancy testing, emergency contraception and testing for STI’s.
You can give us a call on 0300 008 5522 so we can put you in touch with someone who can have a chat about your sexual health and suggest the best support for you. If you are 18 or under, tell us your age so we can tell you about the walk-in service too.
There are also other websites that provide useful information;
- YC Hertfordshire (local services for young people including free condoms, chlamydia testing)
- Health for Teens (select Hertfordshire)
- Sexwise (honest advice about contraception, pregnancy, STIs, and pleasure)
